When buying gas at the pump, you may notice that you are charged a higher amount by the gas station than what you actually purchased. The additional amount you were charged is an authorized hold, and generally releases within 24-72 hours. This type of hold is placed by the merchant, meaning Moves is, unfortunately, unable to remove any authorized holds or expedite removing them.
In order to avoid this hold being put on your card, we strongly recommend paying for your gas inside at the cashier, rather than paying at the pump.
